Each island is unique in climate and culture.

Oahu: Lots of free entertainment and cultural history. The best public beaches and parks. A great price, Waikiki Beach is the place to go. For quiet seclusion, North Shore beach front cottages and private homes are available.

Maui: Best beaches for swimming, ocean front accommodations are abundant. Lots of condos from 2 star to 6 star. Ask about the Whalers Village and Kaanapali Beach. Maui is a favorite for golfers.

Kauai: Uncrowded with a rural country atmosphere, cool climate. The most lush island. A very "old Hawaii" atmosphere. Many of Kauai's beaches are not good for swimming so choose your accommodations with that in mind.

Big Island: Wow, the Kilauea Volcano erupting into the ocean near Hilo Town. Waikoloa resort region offers ocean front resorts with great beaches. Kona offers coffee farms, snorkeling, wild dolphins and whales. Lots of local shopping. Fun!
