There are many very cool activities on Kauai. It has some of the best white sand beaches in Hawaii. The surf is tricky. Be certain that you understand the ocean conditions before you go swimming anywhere in Kauai. Notices about surf conditions are posted on the public beaches. If in doubt, ask the life guard. No lifeguard means don't go swimming.
