After living in Hawaii for 14 years there were very few places that I had never visited. Last summer I visited the Island of Lanai for the first time and I was literally astonished. The Four Seasons is one of the most beautiful hotels in the Hawaiian Islands. It is also one of the most quiet places I have been to in Hawaii.
There are two Four Seasons Resorts on the Island of Lanai. At the top of the mountain is The Lodge At Koele. They call it the "Up Country". There are no cars on Lanai so your stay includes transportation from the harbor or the airport.
